MARCH 18, 2017
If you’re the type of gal who loves to fling the doors of your home open at a moments notice and have a few friends around without feeling stressed — then you need a few foolproof ways to style up that table simply but beautifully. If you want your friends to stick around and experience something special, but make it easy on yourself — I can help you with that. In a nutshell, I’ll show you how to create stylish table settings and delicious, easy food that makes the ordinary times really wonderful.
Look, to be honest, we don’t all want to play Housewives of Melbourne, flitting around the house in our heels and trying to keep up with the Jones’. Some of us are happy creating a simple get together but with our busy lives, we can be daunted by entertaining. If you lack the confidence to style a beautiful table simply but beautifully, or you want some fresh, new ideas this is the perfect workshop for you. Now because I love what I do so much, I want to share our love of styling and entertaining with you. I couldn’t think of anything nicer than to bring a group of women together and to share my skills and show you exactly how we go about styling a table and sharing a delicious meal. This is a practical, hands-on workshop where you will get involved with planning, styling and creating throughout the day…Oh, and did I mention you will also eating some delicious food!
WHO IS PUTTING ON THE WORKSHOP
Carmen Darwin: With a background in interior design, garden design, and teaching I am bundling up all my skills and bringing them to the table (pardon the pun). I love entertaining, my home and my friends and family so combining all I love and bringing it to you is going to be super fun and exciting for me. I will be conducting the workshop and want you to be one of the fun-loving women in the group.
Greg and Jane Furney: The delightful owners of Villa Rustica will be opening their property up to us to provide our incredible workshop space overlooking the pool in the Villa. They will be assisting in the delicious lunch preparation and (spoiler alert) we will be using Greg’s stunning ceramics during the workshop . You can find out more about that below.
WHAT WE WANT FOR YOU
We want you to leave the workshop with your new-found confidence to have friends around and impress them with just how beautifully you have prepared your space and just how incredibly delicious the food is. You can take all the skills you learn in this one-day workshop and use them for fresh inspiration.
Simply reserve your spot and pay online, we’ll send you all the details closer to the date and we’ll see you there on the day! Why not bring a friend or group of girls! Numbers are strictly limited.
