For 18 years, I had been working for many clients doing everything from designing gardens, to renovation planning for to interior selections, to styling homes and was trying to be everything to everyone. On top of this, I was raising my three children and worked in education and various other various part-time jobs to cover household expenses, school fees, and a mortgage. I loved what I was doing but I was running myself ragged trying to do so much and juggle a family too.
I started moving in circles of female entrepreneurs, signing up for high-end programs to improve my business skills and focus wholeheartedly on creating a business that I was really excited and passionate about. What I found out during this time is that what I love most was working and talking with other women in business who are striving to do exactly the same thing as me…to create a business and a life that they love….on their terms.
It was then that the penny dropped and I knew I could help them, as many of them were working from home or a little office somewhere outside the house, but many reported that their workspace was a shambles, less than ideal and not really making them feel happy or successful. I love my little office space and whilst I get sick of being in it some days….tap,tap tapping away on the computer, I felt a sense of peace and joy being in it but there were times I felt a little stuck knowing just how to make the most of my small space and make it a reflection of my personality. When I looked around I saw a creative, organised space and it made me feel really lucky to be working from home. But I knew this was uncommon and that the spare room with its beige walls, mismatched furniture and hodge- podge style was more the norm. Another thing that I knew for sure was that a disorganised, soulless space is not at all conducive to creating a thriving business and a happy you. I knew how important it was to get it right.

There are no refunds with my 1:1 Work With Me Services. If you have any concerns we will address it and see that we help overcome any problems you may experience.
What if I am not the creative type?
This is perfect for someone who needs a guiding hand and someone to really assist with the design process. I make it easy for the non-designer.
Through personally working with many women on their home renovations, designs, decorating and styling projects I have a vast array of experiences in design. Running my own home and garden design business for the last 15 years made me realise that I had a formula that I had developed for myself and I realised that I can show you how to do that too.
My background in education has been an invaluable part of breaking tasks down for women so that they can manage a small chunk at a time in their really busy lives. This has been a winning formula for me. I know that women get so stuck trying to design on their own and they often need a sounding board, but not necessarily someone taking over or putting unnecessary pressure put on them.
I have worked on a huge variety of design projects in my career, but quite simply what I love to do best is help women in business create a home and lifestyle that they love.
